How far is Veligandu from the airport?
A:
Veligandu is located in North Ari Atoll, 50 km from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport. Your seaplane transfer from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport is a scenic, 20 minute flight.

What is the weather like?
A:
It is warm throughout the year and there are slight variations in the temperature during certain periods. The average temperature is 32 degree Celsius.

Can we make direct reservations with the resort?
A:
There are advantages to booking a package thru a tour operator. Otherwise, use Veligandu's secure online reservation form available on this website, which gives immediate confirmation.

How far in advance can I make direct reservations?
A:
From today through and including April 30, 2017.

What is check-in time?
A:
Check-in time is 1:00 p.m., and check-out time is 12:00 noon.

Is there a minimum night stay policy at Veligandu?
A:
When you select your dates, it will show if there is a minimum stay.

Does the Resort have a Child Policy?
A:
Veligandu welcome guests 18 years and older.

Can I reserve specific Villa?
A:
Every effort is made to accommodate your request, however there is no guarantee and is subject to availability upon arrival.

Can I upgrade from Full board to All Inclusive at the Resort?
A:
It is less expensive to do so when booking directly thru your travel agent or tour operator. Otherwise, please ask Guest Services for assistance.

Will I be met at the airport?
A:
Yes, upon exiting the Customs area you enter the Arrivals Hall and then turn right and go to the Crown & Champa Resorts Booth #59, where you will be met and greeted by our local representatives who will direct you to your transfers.

Do I need to bring beach towels, or are these provided?
A:
Beach towels are provided in your room at no charge for use at the beach or pool.

Do you provide TV in the rooms?
A:
Yes, color satellite TV is provided and features more than 20 channels including many in different languages.

Do you have a dress code?
A:
"No shoes, No news", very casual. Dress as you wish on the island, In the bars, restaurants and reception cover up over a bathing suit must be worn. Women & men visiting a local island should cover shoulders and thighs and not wear anything transparent. Nudity and topless is prohibited

Please advise us on the method of payment?
A:
Payment is accepted only upon checkout at the Front Desk Cashier, before your departure. During your stay, when you charge anything, you sign a guest check. Guest checks are billed to your room. However, you don't need to sign a guest check for the meals included in your full board meal plan (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

Do you accept credit cards and travellers cheques?
A:
Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express & UnionPay credit cards are accepted for payment. Travelers cheques are not accepted.

What kind of electrical sockets do you have in the rooms?
A:
Veligandu's electricity is 220Volts, 50 Hz. Electrical outlets accommodate standard UK style 3 flat pin plugs. Adapters may be purchased at the Veligandu Gift Shops.

Is there an Internet Connection in my room?
A:
There is free wi-fi in all rooms and in most public areas.
Q:
What about mobile phone coverage?
A:
There is good GSM International Roaming service available on most islands.

Is there a safe in the room?
A:
The use of a personal safe is provided at no charge in your room.

Are there medical facilities?
A:
There is a clinic and an in-house doctor who is available 24 hours a day.

Does Veligandu cater for special dietary?
A:

Do you have mosquito nets in the room?
A:
No, because there are very few mosquitos. If you are particularly sensitive then a repellent is recommended and which is sold at the Gift Shop.

There is a lending Library next to the Reception where you can take or donate a book & magazines.

How big is Veligandu?
A:
It is 600 meters long by 150 meters wide, about 22 acres.

Free wireless connection to the Internet is provided in your guest room, most public areas and at the Cyber Cafe.

For safety and privacy reasons, drones and other flying devices of similar nature are not allowed in Veligandu.
