Weekly Schedule

Weekly excursion program

    • Visit Kuramathi, just a 20 minute dhoni ride, includes Kuramathi Village, Kuramathi Cottage Club and Spa, and Kuramathi Blue Lagoon, a total of 300 rooms
    • Minimum 6 persons. A child under 16 must be accompanied by a parent
    • Visit 3 reefs including Madivaru, Rasdhoo and Kuramathi
    • Rent snorkeling equipment from the Dive Center for US$6 per person or purchase from the Gift Shop
    • Minimum 6 persons. Minimum age 12. A child under 16 must be accompanied by a parent
    • Try to catch your dinner the traditional Maldivian way with hand line, hook, sinker, and bait! Tag your fish with your room number, and ask Reception to have your catch cooked for dinner or the next day’s lunch, for only US$5 per fish, extra
    • Minimum 6 persons. A child under 16 must be accompanied by a parent
    • Photograph a magnificent tropical sunset and if you are lucky, see a group of dolphins while cruising aboard a traditional dhoni
    • Includes a glass of special punch or house wine
    • Other beverages are available at Veligandu bar menu prices

    • Visit 3 islands by dhoni, including Rasdhoo, a typical local fishing island; Madivaru, a picnic island where you will enjoy a BBQ lunch with drinks and have time to snorkel, swim and sunbathe; and Kuramathi, a resort island…take US$ cash

    • Shop for souvenirs in the local shop…take US$ cash

    • Minimum 8 persons. A child under 16 must be accompanied by a parent
    • Visit a nearby island and see how our neighbors cultivate crops including watermelon
    • The required clothing to be worn when visiting a local island, at the minimum is a t-shirt with short sleeves; and for women, knee length shorts, and for men, shorts
    • Minimum 6 persons. A child under 16 must be accompanied by a parent
    • Your own private island…the ultimate romantic getaway!
    • We drop you off after lunch and pick you up before sunset (enough sun for one day)
